Raised in Upstate New York, my parents inspired in me a love of nature and observation, and they taught me to see the world with the eyes of an artist. Later, as a young adult, I chose to study design at Cornell University. Since then I’ve been working as a graphic designer, art director, surface designer, creative director, and a painter. I identify equally with both disciplines of art and design–each informs the other to make me better at what I do. Even though they are separate paths–I take them both.
